The election is Denmark's largest employer branding campaign

So now it's election time again. Denmark will once again be bombarded with election rumors, election posters and party programs. But if we look behind the politics, we are actually seeing the country's largest and most intense employer branding campaign.

We've mentioned it before, but a general election is the ultimate exercise in employer branding. Here's why:

The Value Proposition (EVP)

A party is like a company with many employees. Parties are not just fighting for votes, but to sell a vision. Just as companies fight to sell their “why” to the brightest talents.

The candidate journey

From the first debates to the tick in the box, we see a tough selection process. Here, however, it is the parties who are the "candidates" and the voters who are the "recruiters" who must decide who they will hire to lead the country.

Culture is crucial

We don't just vote on numbers and reforms. We vote on values and a culture we can reflect on. Let's see who can keep the culture (and credibility) all the way.

But here is the important difference!

While politicians only have until March 24th to win your trust, your company's "election campaign" runs 365 days a year. Every day, your employees and potential candidates make a choice: Is this the right place for me?

If you don't campaign for your workplace every day, you risk your talents voting for a competitor.

What are your "election promises" to your employees?
